Putin continues to impress. I have been looking at his speeches for a number of years. He does not seem to have any particular economic philosophy. He is not a communist. If at all he seems a Russian nationalist with some sort of possibly mythical beliefs. He built up Russia after various collapses till it can take on USA and leading to a more self reliant and confident Russia showing the way to a multipolar world.
