Blogger and VC of University of Hyderabad wonders about the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This seems to assume that system is isolated and springs to action when external outputs like visits of UGC arrive. I think that it is more than that. Can we develop excellent institutions which are sustainable isolated from the social conditions outside. Perhaps for short periods if they are lucky enough to have outstanding leaders.
