Kim Plofker's book on Indian mathematics which has been mentioned before
Indian mathematics miscelleny is reviewd by Pervez Hoodbhoy in Naure
An Indian history of numbers. It seems to be a lazy review. Having gone through her long article in
The Mathematics of Egypt, Mesopotamia, China, India, and Islam: A Sourcebook, I am not planning to read her new book any time soon and assume that it is good. Excerpts of thelater book are available
here. Here is a review of the later book in which Kim Plofker's contribution is discussed in some detail by
Clemency Montelle.
There's also David Mumford's review of the book, in Notices of the AMS: http://www.ams.org/notices/201003/rtx100300385p.pdf
